So, this past week we have had Mike's parents here and we had such a good time! It was wonderful to see family and to spend some time with them. It tore me apart at the same time, seeing how much the kids love their grandparents and knowing they won't see them again for a while. It sure stinks living so far from family but it won't be for too much longer, right?! Anyway, they brought a picnic table for the kiddos and they loved it! Patchy loved his Pampa and Maddie loved her Meema so it worked out good as far as attention! :) They brought their Wii and the kids LOVED it, as you can see from the top pics. I have a video of them playing but will have to upload it tomorrow, it was a riot! They only played the sword fighting and loved being knocked into the water-great fun! Meema and Pampa took Maddie to DC one day and she had a great time with, demanding their pickles from their cheeseburgers (a girl after my own heart!) at lunch. The kids, Mike and his parents went to Inflation Nation Friday while I did the Primary Program Rehearsal. They had fun with that as well. We went to Williamsburg on Saturday and had a nice walk-we didn't get to do quite as much there as we would have liked but it was a beautiful day and still tons of fun. Sunday was our Primary Program and the primary kids did amazing! So, when my stress was finally gone with that then it was time for them to head home the next day. We really had a wonderful time with them and are so grateful they came out. We love you!!

Looks like fun. It's always so stinky when family has to leave! Sometimes it's so poopy being far from everyone but it sure makes those visits extra great!
Addie wants to see some pics of maddie in her dress ups! I'm glad the clothes fit!
What a great visit! They looks so cute playing the Wii!!
Hooray for family visits--too bad they can't last longer! Looks like the kids had a great time, and you did a FANTASTIC job on the Primary Program--it went really well and was super sweet and moving.
Since they are gone now... are you ready for Aaron and I again for Thanksgiving?? I am 99% positive that we are coming... if that is okay of course!
It's the best seeing your children with their grandparents....Glad you had such a fun visit with them. Shannon, I want to personally thank you and everyone who helped with the primary program. It was amazing!!! My little boy is learning so much about the gospel because of your amazing service. Thank you!
The Wii is so much fun for little kids, Hannah loves boxing. Your kids look so cute doing it, it looks like they really love it.
