Sisters

I used to wonder what my mom and dad were thinking when they had 5 kids in 5 years...I still do sometimes. I have come to realize those how incredibly grateful I am that they did have us so close. Do you have sisters? I have 4 and 2 brothers.  My older sister, Jamie, and I are 14 months apart and my younger sister, Kelli, and I are 31 months apart with a brother between us. Terra and Michelle are 13 and 14 years younger than me.

Well, I used to think my parents were crazy for having us close because we fought like no other. It is amazing though that you can fight with your sisters and be sharing clothes 5 minutes later or shopping or laughing so hard your sides ache. It is wonderful that they know who you are,  sometimes better than you know yourself, and they put you in check when you are acting otherwise. It is a gift to share parenting woes since you are all having babies around the same time. It is awesome to know that they will love you no matter what and forgive you always. It is even greater to know you always have a best friend or best friends out there no matter where you are or what your life is like at that moment.

For those who know me well or live by me, you know I live my sisters-I talk about them ALL the time. For those who don't, you should now-they are some of the most amazing women I know. I am so glad that I was able to spend time with Kelli this past week and that I get to live only 2.5 hours from Jamie starting this Thursday! I hope they know how much they mean to me and how much I look up to them! Thank you for coming Kelli- I enjoyed the ab exercise! ;)

Maddie and Sadie became pretty good buddies-with their matching rain-boots.

Talk about HILARIOUS, the giraffe tried to eat Chloe's head! Look  at her hair! Hahahaha, poor girl!

Chlo-Bug was such a little snuggler...once she got used to me!

Five children in five years? That's awesome. Sometimes I'm sure that felt overwhelming when you guys were little, but look at how much it pays off! I love it!
