4th of July...KC style

We had a great time with the kids doing snaps, snakes, smoke bombs and some other things with noise that Patch wasn't too fond of. That was our Saturday evening and it was fun, Maddie is one brave little chica-Patch, not so much. ;)

Maddie thought taking a pic of Aunt Kate takin pics was a fab idea-she took it well, don't ya think?

Michael making his debut, a Maddie pic-hence the fuzziness.

Tom, Mike's uncle, also showed up with his snake a little while later. Again, Maddie is one brave little chica...

Cousin Addie got in on the action too...yes, Addie and Maddie-it can get overwhelming at times. ;)

Patch was a bit more hesitant.

Gross. That's all I have to say.

Again, fearless.

Okay, let's all be brave now...other than Mom.

It all ended with a bang...literally.

Even though it was raining (it rained more in the 5 days we were there than it has all summer here in VA) the fireworks were A-MA-ZING. I haven't seen fireworks in 3 years do to having small babies. Well, we forced Patch to stay in my lap and watch-and it was quite the show!
Well worth the rain and delay.

Good times, good times.

Zelda loves snakes. In fact, when I showed her your photos, she was convinced that Maddie was actually her and Patrick was Emily's son Marshall. I love see how great your family is doing!
