Sweet Blessings...

In the LDS religion we bless our babies at the beginning of their life, it is always a sweet moment. Miss Makinley, your sweet moment was today as your Daddy took you in his arms (along with a few others we asked) and gave you a "name and blessing". It was beautiful the feeling of the spirit was immense. I look forward to watching you grow sweet girl; grow physically, mentally and spiritually. You have already given us, our entire little family, such amazing feelings of love and happiness. I can't wait to see how much your relationship with your sister and brother will grow and how much you will learn to love and admire them. I look forward to the day that you can choose right from wrong and to see you choose what's right and be there for you and love you as much as always when you make a choice that hurts a bit and doesn't end out being the right one (which will happen more often than you'll want-it's just life). I love you more than I could have imagined and I am grateful for this sweet day that brought us even closer to you. I love you!

This was after church and we were ALL ready to go...home that is! :)

I wasn't able to get a shot of all those who participated but we are so thankful for Evan and Nate standing in on the blessing, it means a lot to us for you to be with us in such a sweet experience. We also thank the who Gibson clan for coming down, we had a blast with you at our house. And we are grateful that Meemaa could be here for as long as she has and that she could be here for this as well. We love you all and wish all our family could have been here, but we'll take what we can get! I love the pic of Nate and Diane (Makinley's middle name is after that sweet woman) and Makinley where Makinley is screaming and Nate decides to join her...classic!

Pics of just the sweet baby in her beautiful dress to come!
