Sorry, no new pictures, we have been so busy with the move that the camera has been the last thing on the mind. Just thought we would let everyone know that things are going great...or pretty great! Shannon went to the Doctor on Tuesday, with a little more hope than normal, only to get them dashed again. She is still not dilated, even with all that she has felt like has been happening. She wasn't dilated at this point with Maddie but she has had way more things happening this time around so...she is or was a bit bummed. Wednesday and Thursday have proved that some more time is needed a graciously accepted with Maddie as an only child. She has been nothing but laughter and fun, well...with a few exceptions in there. The house is coming along slowly but surely. We have a completed living room, Maddie's room and bathroom, kitchen for the most part and our bathroom. The dining room and our bedroom are in complete disarray but hopefully everything will be done by Saturday evening so we can relax for a week before a very welcomed chaos begins again!
As for a quick and funny story-one which we wish we had pictures of-happened late Saturday night. It wasn't so funny to Shannon then but now it is nothing but pure laughter. Shannon got everything ready to cut Mikey's hair and he sat down ready for it too. Well, Shannon goes to cut and is proud that she was starting on a side rather than in the back like normal and wham!!! All of the sudden the pride is gone and complete humiliation and horror has settled in-she forgot the guard!!!! Mikey's side burn was gone and he didn't know what to think-he has lost a chunk of hair and his wife is spassing out on him...saying anything to make herself laugh instead of cry. He keeps saying not to worry about it and that we'll fix it but she's not so sure. She doesn't even want to keep cutting but she does and he "fixes" it the best he can the next morning. By fixing we mean that he had to cut the other one off the best he could. He says, "At least it will be back by the time the baby is blessed." Not funny!!! That is like a month and a half away...but my idea of gluing it back on wouldn't necessarily work!

How funny, yet sad, yet funny. This must be a common occurrence. Colton just did this to Nick's hair as well (see their blog). Perhaps this is why I'm not daring enough to cut John's myself. Too funny!

I can't believe that there is not progress. When Shelley called this morning from your cell phone, I thought maybe you had gone into labor and needed something. I am so sad that is not the case. Just a little bit longer!
Hahaha!! There's someone out there like Stephanie and I!!! Steph did that to edward a few years ago..she blogged it because I did it to Nick the day before Mary's wedding!! Crazy!! I felt so bad, but couldn't help but crack up into tears as it happened..I'm still laughing about it as I type. We were quite the talk in the Temple that next day. Stephanie asked for us to sit back in the back corner so no one could see it!! It was great..so Mike, Nick and my brother feel your pain! :) Congrats on Patrick...he sure is cute!
