What A Wonderful Time of the Year!

We have been trying to put our Christmas decorations up now for a couple days and it is so fun! We still have a few little things to add to our outdoors decorations but we are nearly done! We had fun decorating the tree last night with our family ornaments and then trying on our Snata hats. We are so grateful for this time of year, a time to reflect and to remember and how grateful we are for our Savior and all that He has given us. We, Mike and I, have been given an opportunity to, hopefully, understand a little more this year. We are excited to have been asked to be Mary and Jospeh this year in the Zoo production of the Christmas story! Mike is excited to be around all the animals and lead a donkey. They didn't say this but we are assuming that I will be on that donkey-I can't say that I am as thrilled! :D It will be a busy three nights but we are very much looking forward to it. Mike has to grow a beard though!!! IF anyone knows me very well, you should know that I do NOT do facial hair, I can't stand the way it scratches my face and makes me all red but, if anyone knows Mikey very well they would know he doesn't like it just as much so we both get to suffer! This pic is his first of many in the process of the beard.

We do have a topper but need a new one so it will be there eventually Ho-ho-ho!

Cute tree!! How fun about Mary and Joseph. Good luck with the beard, it will go by fast I'm sure.

You said your tree is straggely, well I think it looks great. Good job. I like your white bows, we of course, have the red ones.
Oh Mikey, your rough look is so becoming :).

You know...I thought I hated facial hair too, but Nick decided to try and grow a goatie once and I loved it! He's had it ever since. You might be surprised!
