cute fun for the little miss

We got some placemats from Wally-World the other day for .75 and decided to do a bag for Maddie. I have heard all about them but never really seen one-not too hard to figure out though. It was fun to do during Mr.'s nap time with her. She got particularly excited about the flowers...she is soooo girl.

Go get some placemats on sale, add some ribbon and charm and...

Wha-la!

perfect for your little one to play with or even for you to use as a scripture/tote bag.

I am going to make one for myself-different color scheme and I am going to bring the bottom corners in. Have fun with it!

That is FABULOUS! You have to teach me how...Larry the Cucumber is awesome, but his handle is long gone, so I could use a new bag for my scriptures! Anyway...way to go!

great job! for a smaller bag, just use one placemat and fold it in half - then you only have to sew 2 sides instead of 3. Love your colors (i'm weak for pink and brown...)

well in that case if you want a bigger bag you can take 2 placemats and sew them together on 3 sides - - both ways are super cute
