When Daddy is down and out...

As overwhelmed as I may have seemed with my post yesterday, the day turned out just fine. There was nothing for me or my family to be personally worried about with the hurricane-so that went out the window quickly. I took a deep breath and we ended up having a pretty relaxing day. Maddie and I made a bunch of hair flowers and headbands for the little lady who will join us in a few months and for a friend and her little lady born just last week.
As for all that "other stuff" that "NEEDED" to be done-well, it will have to wait, and it will do so happily (and I will be happy about it).
Now, for that sick hubby of mine, who went to work today and shouldn't have (I have a hard worker here folks, who doesn't let a lot get him down-one of the numerous reasons that I love him). Anyway, he did come home a little early so that was good. Well, he laid in bed most of the day, yesterday, on some good ole' Tylenol and Sprite and got as much rest as he could...or as Patrick would let him.

Later in the day this is what I walked in to see...too cute, I love that man!

"Daddy, catch!"

And then today, right after he got home.
(feeling pretty crummy, I might add)

Happy weekend to you all and enjoy every moment, as I will!
