Maddie: "Why did you throw my mask away for Halloween?"
Me: (In my head: "Because it has been on the floor ALL over the place and I can't take it anymore.")
(Outloud) "I don't know."
Maddie: "That's okay Mom, accidents happen."
I love that girl, she makes me laugh. Luckily she can't detect my lies...yet.
