Milestones, Eyelashes and Pink Bones

Makinley amazes me, and scares me a little (in how much like her daddy-as a child- she is becoming). She rolled over on Saturday...

in her bouncy seat.

Is that strange? I thought/think so-she is only 2.5 months old! She got mad and flipped herself around (no she wasn't buckled-I know, hand slap for me). I left her unbuckled again later, so Mike could see and she did it again. Crazy girl. Meema (Mike's mom) said I should run from the room screaming, now. Mike was a holy terror of a child, unlocking/opening doors and getting out, climbing on top of the refigerator, sticking his hand up a running vaccuum because he was curious, pulling an iron down on himself and there is WAY more.

Running and screaming may be coming shortly.

She did roll over though for the first time from her tummy to her back, on the floor, today. It really shocked me again, and it was so cute-she kind of surprised herself. And speaking of cute, this cute little lady has super long eyelashes for being only 2.5 months old...

see?!

I want them...is that bad? I want my husband's too, and Patrick's and Maddie's...why does everyone else have such fab lashes?
Oh well, maybe I 'll try fake ones...

or maybe not.

I'd probably end out like Lucille Ball in "Yours,Mine and Our's".
Have you seen that movie? If not, I highly recommend it.

Tonight at dinner Maddie asks,
"Mom, will this pink lemonade make my bones pink?"

And there you have it, the thoughts of a 4 year old...

I love it...

and her-lots.

Your kids are WAYYYYY too cute! Makinley is rolling over super soon, but Hyrum rolled over and crawled way quick and wasn't too hard as a toddler. Maybe Maddie and Patrick will entertain her so she won't have to explore!

love that pic of Maddie--she always makes such great faces, too cute! I definitely hope Mackinley doesnt turn out to be a crazy climber for your sake; I can't believe she is already rolling over! Erin's right, all your kids really are totally beautiful :)

I'll agree with Meema - I gave Mike a blessing when he pulled the iron off the ironing board, searing his leg with the hot water. Does he still have the scar? -- Jim
