So, we are trying to take advantage of the short time we have left with Maddie all by herself. We finally got to go to the Zoo with Daddy this weekend!!! Yea! And it was great for him to finally see how much Maddie is like him in liking animals! I felt like I was a single parent with 2 kids! :D We had a blast. Instead of just touching the giraffes this time we actually got to feed them! Maddie and Daddy did it first and then I took a turn. It was really difficult for me after seeing that nasty tongue they have. I wish I had a pic to prove I did it too but Mike said I pulled my hand back too fast to get a shot. Why would I leave my hand there any longer than I had to? Anyway, it was fun watching Maddie feed them, we believe the giraffe is her favorite animal now and not just because she got to feed it but her reaction to them is priceless! We had a lot of fun and we couldn't have asked for better weather!
