Great Gramps and Great Aunt Cynthia

We were lucky enough to have a surprise visit from Mike's Grandpa and Aunt this past week and visit with them for a few days. It is always wonderful to see family! The kids kept them quite entertained and surprised them by the amount of energy that they have (the kid's energy)! It was funny to hear about how much like Mike they are, when he was a kid. We didn't do a whole lot but visit, which was great, we were kind of busy at home. We did head up to Mt. Vernon on Saturday-the home of George Washington. It was a gorgeous day and the land and home were beautiful! Between the kids and Gramps (being tired-he is 89) we didn't do the tour or anything but walked the grounds and it was great! We had lunch then headed home to catch the 2nd session of Conference (which was great!). They headed out yesterday morning to catch their flight. The kids loved hanging all over Gramps and Patch LOVED his hat! He made Gramps wear it all the time-Gramps just thought he was funny. They liked having him read to them as well-as you can see. A good time was had by all and we are grateful they came!
