Funk-diddl-eee-unk...

That's been me for the past what? week and a half I think. In a blog postin/picture takin/computer lookin funk.

It's all good though. The sweet mother-in-law told the hubby to tell me to get over it and post already...do you think she misses her grandbabies?! ;) Thanks Jennifer, obviously I am takin the advice.

So what's been going on? Well, not a whole lot. It is interesting how when I am not posting just about everyday, how much I seem to miss out on...the funny little things that make my day "oh so worth it"
So, back to the posting grind and capturing the little moments!

2 weekends ago, we had the lovely opportunity to attend the endowment/sealing session at the temple for some good friends in our ward...well, I got to at least. Mike was a sweetie and took the kids to the "big" zoo as Maddie calls it-the DC Zoo. They had a great time an boy did I. This family joined the church 1 year ago. She joined first and her husband a few months later. They have been such rocks since. It was so sweet to see their two little children all dressed in white come in and be so quiet with nothing but wonder, excitement and happiness all over their faces. What an amazing blessing for them to be together forever. If you have more questions about the temple or the church you can contact me or head over to http://www.lds.org/ for more information.

Then, since then we really haven't done much at all. And you know what? It's been kind of nice. Mike has had the past 2 weeks off of school and it has been FABULOUS. He starts back tonight but that means...we have 1 year left!!!!! WAHOO!!  We are so proud of him and eternally grateful-love you baby!

Alright, what everyone really wants to see...

pics of the kiddos.

Okay, these next 2 pics of  Mr. Patchy need to be explained...he is creating a "spit-do" Yes, spitting in his hands and then doing his hair...gross? yes. funny? hilarious.

Oh the Madds...she wants her picture taken anytime she finds the camera...so, A LOT! But I don't mind since she IS such a cute little subject.
