Friday was one of the most beautiful days we have had in a LONG time. After intense heat this summer and then a week full of rain (which was graciously welcomed) we very happily welcomed a day of sunshine and cool temps.
A.MA.ZING!
We headed outside after we had a cute little visitor for a while and played. Maddie took out stuff to have a picnic with her Barbie and Patch decided to make the best of nature and hop in the water puddle from the previous days of rain...in his clothes-he had a blast. And I had a blast watching him be a TOTAL BOY.

Even thought maybe it would be fun with Bubba...he splashed too much.
She didn't want her dress to get dirty.
He did it once and looked my way like, "Uh-Oh" and then realized I didn't care.
Since Mom doesn't care then, LET'S. GET. DIRTY!
So happy that he gets to get dirty...in his clothes!
She couldn't be happier than to be dry and having a "picnic"
He finally fell in the water on his bum and then thought, "Hey, this isn't so bad!"
and there he stayed for a while.

Someone else needs to change too...these were white-thank heavens for bleach!
Ahh, to be a kid again.
To get soaked and dirty and not have to worry about it...those were the days!
